SACRAMENTO AREA FORECAST 5/21/13 at 5 p.m.  

TONIGHT: The wind continues with wind gusts to 30mph toward the Delta. Evening temperatures drop to the 60s through 10 p.m. Early morning lows drop into the 50s.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny skies and breezy. Our approaching weather system will bring us cooler weather with highs in the mid 70s. Wind gusts to 25mph. Breezy in the Sierra with a mix of sun and clouds and highs in the 50s. 

THURSDAY: Sunshine and continued mild with highs in the mid 70s.  Temperatures remain cool for this time of the year with highs in the 70s.  The Sierra will have partly cloudy skies with highs in the 50s.

FRIDAY & SATURDAY: Mostly sunny skies with highs in the upper 70s. The Sierra will see a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the 60s.

SUNDAY: A few clouds develop as a weak system passes through the state. This will keep us in the upper 70s. Sierra highs will be in the 60s.

MONDAY: Mostly sunny skies and slightly warmer. Highs will be near normal in the low 80s. Sierra skies will be partly cloudy with highs in the low 60s.

TUESDAY: A few clouds but still dry. Highs will warm to the low 80s. Sierra highs stay in the 60s.
