OVERNIGHT: The rain showers will continue with a chance of isolated thunderstorms. The valley will see anywhere from 0.10 to 0.50 inches of rain.
MONDAY: The chance of showers will continue during the morning commute with a slight chance of thunderstorms. Valley highs in the upper 60s. Sierra highs in the upper 40s. The foothills and mountains could see up to 2.00 inches of rain. One to 2 inches of snow is possible around 7,000 feet. It will be breezy during the afternoon. Gusts will be up to 25 mph. Sierra winds will be stronger; up to 35 mph.
TUESDAY-THURSDAY: Sunshine and dry conditions return to the valley under an developing area of high pressure. Highs will run in the low 70s. Sierra temperatures will cool slightly to the low 40s with sunshine Tuesday. Wednesday, Sierra highs will be in the low 50s before warming to the upper 50s Thursday.
FRIDAY-SATURDAY: Temperatures continue to warm. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s with sunshine for the valley. Sierra highs will warm to the upper 50s to low 60s.
SUNDAY: Mostly sunny and very warm conditions. Highs will warm to the low 80s in the valley. Sierra temperatures will remain in the low 60s.
