TODAY: Morning fog then mostly cloudy with a chance of rain developing during the evening. Highs near 60. Sierra highs in 40s with a chance of rain and snow late. Snow level near 8,000 feet. High Wind Watch goes into effect for the Sierra during the evening and will continue through Saturday. Gusts up to 60mph possible for highest elevations overnight.
TONIGHT: Steady rain moves in, with snow levels above pass level. Wind kicks in for higher elevations combining with rain for a blustery, wet night.
SATURDAY: Rain likely early in the day with clearing in the evening. Highs in the low 60s. Breezy with rain and snow for the Sierra. Highs in the 40s. Snow level lowering to near 7,000 feet with ridge gusts to 100mph. Snow levels drop at the very tail end of the system to pass level and below.
SUNDAY: Decreasing clouds. Highs in the low 60s. Sierra highs stay in the 40s with clearing skies.
MONDAY: Valley fog then mostly sunny with highs in the mid 60s. Partly cloudy in the Sierra with highs in the 40s.
TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY: Valley fog. Highs in the 60s. Sierra highs in the 50s with variable clouds.
THANKSGIVING: Patchy morning fog then mostly sunny with highs in the 60s. Partly cloudy in the Sierra with highs near 50.
