SATURDAY: Hazy skies early with some afternoon clearing. Highs in the upper 80's. Smoky Sierra skies with a chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the 70's.

SUNDAY: Mostly sunny with less smoke for the valley. Highs stay near 90. Sierra temperatures will warm to the mid and upper 70's with a chance of showers and thunderstorms.

MONDAY: Sunny with highs near 90. Sunny skies return to the Sierra with highs in the mid 70's.

TUESDAY: Sunny with persistent temperatures. Valley highs near 90. Sierra highs in the 70's with mostly sunny skies.

WEDNESDAY: Tracking a low that will move inland from the Pacific bringing a chance of showers and cooler temperatures. Valley highs in the mid 80's. Sierra highs in the mid 70's with partly cloudy skies and a chance of showers by evening.

THURSDAY & FRIDAY: Chance of valley showers continues. Highs near 80. Chance of showers for the Sierra with highs dropping to the 60's.
