SONOMA - NASCAR driver AJ Allmendinger completed the first of two test session days at Sonoma Raceway on Tuesday, in preparation for the Toyota/SaveMart 350 Jun. 20-22.
Allmendinger, the 32-year-old native of Los Gatos, and driver of the No. 47 Kingsford Chevrolet car, completed approximately 63 laps on Tuesday in efforts to familiarize him and his JTG Daugherty Racing team with their first road course experience of the season.

Allmendinger will return to the track on Thursday to complete the second testing session.
In 2009, Allmendinger had his best finish at Sonoma Raceway where he finished in seventh place.
Sonoma Raceway is a home track for Allmendinger and also located near his sponsor, The Clorox Company, in Oakland
Allmendinger is currently ranked 20th in the Sprint Cup Series point standings.
