How the USA can win the game

While Germany's players are good at every position, analysts say the USA can attack the right, play the give-and-go and go over the top to exploit the team.

The outcome

A win for the USA would advance them to the Round of 16. The team, part of Group G, would then play the second-place Group H team in the knockout round.

A tie would also advance the U.S. team. They would go on to play the Group H winner.

But with a loss, it gets complicated. The USA still could advance depending on the outcome of the Ghana-Portugal game.
