It's just another typical Super Bowl ad where a Hollywood star goes on a two-minute profanity-laced rant against the company she's promoting, her career and what it means to be "beer commercial babe hot."

In a clever parody Web video titled "Behind the Scenes of the Mega Huge Football Game Ad Newcastle Brown Ale Almost Made," actress Anna Kendrick discusses the ad that wasn't meant to be while getting her hair styled. The video, which was published earlier this week, has generated more than 3.2 million views on YouTube.

Kendrick starts the video by saying she was "really excited" to make a Super Bowl ad for the beer company, but quickly adds "then turns out they don't even have the money or permission to make a S---- Bowl commercial." Yes, Super Bowl is bleeped out, which Kendrick quickly points out.

"I don't think you can mention football like in any capacity," she says.

The star of Pitch Perfect then becomes a bit more introspective, saying she was "surprised" that she'd been cast in the non-commercial in the first place.

"I don't think of myself as beer-commercial babe hot," she explains. How modest, right?

"I mean, I'm hot," she quickly clarifies. "Like approachable hot. Like the hottest girl in your improv class hot."

And "Super Bowl" isn't the only term bleeped out during the two-plus-minute video. She talks about her career to date, noting her "well-rounded" acting credentials with starring turns in blockbusters and indies.

"Basically, the only thing I haven't done is a nude scene, and get paid a s--- ton of money to be in a commercial — for a beer I don't even drink," she says.

"This gave me the opportunity to basically do both of those things," she adds.

The video concludes with Kendrick taking a couple of more parting shots at Newcastle using, let's just say, more colorful language before she storms off as an off-camera crew member places a six-pack in front of the camera.

Not surprisingly, the spot has been a hit on social media. Twitter users have described the ad and Kendrick as everything from "hilarious" to "brilliant."

Not bad for an ad that never happened.
