STOCKTON - Bay Area online realty company Movoto published a list for potential home buyers titled, "20 things you need to know about Stockton before you move there."
It's meant to be both positive and educational, but it's also quirky.
There are the usual Stockton landmarks mentioned -- the Miracle Mile, proximity to the Delta, proximity to wineries, the Haggin Museum and the University of the Pacific.
Then there's Tepa Taqueria, Zapszone (laser tag), the Friends of the Library (used bookstore) and the P 2000 superstore.
"Mostly stuff for teens, shoes, clothing and backpacks, watches and such," said Trung Nguyen while describing the store's products.
Movoto hires free lance writers for it's lists on what to be aware of in a city before moving there -- Kathryn Peoples wrote the Stockton 20 article. She also included attractive real estate pricing, and Stockton's proximity to Sacramento, San Jose and Oakland.
