The Sacramento County Coroner's Office released the name of a mother of three who was found fatally shot in south Sacramento Wednesday morning.

Sacramento police believe the death of Tamisha Glashen, 31, may be the result of domestic violence. Officers arrested her ex-boyfriend, Dameshlo Green, 34. He turned himself in to police for a parole violation and was later booked into Sacramento County Jail for homicide, Officer Michele Gigante said.

Officers responded to Glashen's home in the 6800 block of Woodbine Avenue at 4:28 a.m. Wednesday and found her deceased. Authorities said a gun was recovered at the property.

The woman's three children were inside the home at the time of the shooting. Gigante said Green is the father of one of the children.

Evidence gathered at the scene led investigators to believe the woman knew the shooter and the incident was possibly an act of domestic violence. When Green surrendered at 9:34 a.m., detectives questioned him about the shooting and then arrested him, Gigante said.
