SACRAMENTO - "Dirty donuts" being thrown over a neighbor's fence were the latest provocation in an ongoing dispute that erupted in gunfire Tuesday morning, according to a Sacramento County sheriff's spokesperson.
Sgt. Lisa Bowman said no one was injured, but two people at the house where the shots came from were arrested. No names were released.
Deputies responding to calls about gunshots in the area of Power Inn Road and Loucreta Drive after 11:30 a.m. were told by the two arrested they had fired shots in the air because they felt threatened by some neighbors after an exchange of words. Bowman said deputies found one car at the scene had been hit by at least one round.
Deputies seized a handgun from the house where the shots were fired.
Fourteen individuals were named as victims in the deputies' report.
