Friends remember a woman who was killed in a DUI crash. (Tuesdaym, News10

Sacramento woman Sena Uong lost her life over the weekend in a Fresno County crash. Police said the crash was caused by a drunk driver.

Her best friend Vitru Kean is mourning the loss, saying the tragedy could have been prevented.

"I wish she didn't go, I wish she had stayed," Kean said. "I still think that it's a dream. How could someone so good, so giving just pass like that."

Uong was one of four people killed in a DUI crash in Fresno County Sunday afternoon. She was a passenger in an SUV that struck a Kia. Three people in the Kia died, including a 7 and 10 year old.

"I'm sure she's crying because of those kids up there, because she wanted to have kids with her boyfriend, they wanted to start over," Kean said.

Uong and her boyfriend Sam Oeurn moved to Sacramento two years ago and ran the café inside the Maita Toyota dealership.

The shop was closed for the week -- flowers line the counter with a picture of Uong.

"She had a giving heart. Whatever she had, she gave it," Kean said. "There was never a time she would even say no to anything."

Uong's boyfriend was also a passenger in the SUV. He survived the crash and has been released from the hospital.

Investigators said the driver of the SUV Rien Ban, 43, wreaked of alcohol and failed a sobriety test. He now faces charges of DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter. Kean believes the driver made bad decisions that day and should be held accountable.

"If things were done differently, then things should have ended up differently," Kean said. "But all we can say is what if."

The suspect in the crash has a long history of driving arrests -- including at least two previous DUI convictions and driving without a license.
