SACRAMENTO - Two Victorian-style homes were damaged in a 3-alarm fire in downtown Sacramento Friday morning.

According to firefighters on scene, the fire broke out around 6:30 a.m. at a property on F St. between 13th and 14th streets. The fire then spread to the home next door.

More than 100 firefighters eventually contained the fires before 8 a.m.

The homes had been converted into multi-unit living properties. All residents made it out of both buildings, according to firefighters.

No information was provided on the cause of the fire.
