A security guard for an upscale Granite Bay community has been arrested on suspicion of child pornography.

James Lee Johnson, 49, of Citrus Heights, left a flash drive at the guard shack at the Los Lagos development off Auburn Folsom Road, according to the Placer County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's office report said Johnson called another employee to have the flash drive put in his employee mailbox. However, the co-worker looked at the flash drive and saw child porn on it.

The co-worker contacted the sheriff's office and deputies obtained a search warrant for Johnson's house. Authorities said the flash drive contained dozens of images of child porn and there's no telling how much child porn is on his home computers.

Johnson is cooperating with the Placer County Sheriff's Office and led them to believe there's more images on his home computers.

The sheriff's report stated deputies arrested Johnson for possession of child pornography and removed several computers from his home. It's believed Johnson downloaded the files from the Internet.

Johnson's bail was set at $50,000.
