SACRAMENTO - An Oakdale youth pastor accused of child pornography entered a not guilty plea in Sacramento federal court Thursday.

Tyler Bliss has been charged with one count of possession/distribution of an image of a minor engaged in sexually explicit activity.

The criminal complaint states Sacramento Valley High Technology Crimes Task Force Officer and Ceres police Det. Britton Moore found images of minors engaged in sexual conduct on Bliss' cellphone, his home laptop computer and a computer at Bethel Assembly of God in Oakdale where he supervised student ministries.

The complaint also alleged that during the investigation it was learned Bliss was sexually involved with a minor female he knew through his work as a youth pastor. Sexually explicit images of the girl were found on Bliss' cellphone, sent by the girl.

Bliss was ordered continued detained for another week when there will be detention hearing. His next court date was set for June 2.
