SACRAMENTO, CA - A school bus with eight children and a car crashed at a Land Park intersection Monday afternoon.
The crash happened around 3:40 p.m. at Freeport Boulevard and Park Road.
The Sacramento City Unified School Bus traveling southbound on Freeport Boulevard crashed into a Honda turning left from northbound Freeport Boulevard onto Park Road.
Both drivers claimed they had the right-of-way and the green light.
The fire department was called to the scene of the crash after the driver of the Honda and two school children complained of pain.
Crews cleared the two school children, who were taken home in city buses. The extent of the Honda driver's injuries is unclear.
California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash to find out who had the right-of-way at the intersection.
