Three men and one woman were found dead Thursday night inside a Turlock home by officers conducting a welfare check.
Officers were dispatched to the home in the 3000 block of Red Oak Court around 10 p.m. after family members told police they had not seen or heard from their relatives, according to Turlock police officer Mayra Lewis.
Police entered the home and found the people dead inside. The causes of death were not confirmed, nor were the identities of the individuals, but Lewis said they appear to match the description of the residents of the home.
An ensuing investigation revealed all four people died as a result of a murder-suicide, Lewis said.
It was unclear at this point in the investigation who killed who, according to Lewis.
Anyone with information on the ongoing investigation was asked to contact Detective Brandon Bertram at 668-5550 ext. 6623.
