SACRAMENTO – An argument led to the fatal stabbing of a man in Amador County Monday morning, according to the Amador County Sheriff's Office.
Amador County Undersheriff Jim Wagner said the victim was stabbed multiple times at a property on Pioneer Creek Drive around 3 a.m.
The 26-year-old victim did not live at the home where the stabbing occurred, according to Wagner.
Gregory Michael Wilson, 40, of Pioneer, was arrested and booked into the Amador County Jail for murder, Wagner said. Wilson's girlfriend, Dana June Knaul, 47, of Pioneer, was arrested and booked into the Amador County Jail on suspicion of a accessory to murder.
Wagner said Wilson admitted stabbing the victim because he did not promptly leave the property when asked to do so.
