A Carmichael church pastor nabbed in a prostitution sting two months ago pleaded no contest to misdemeanor soliciting for prostitution.
John Oselsky, the senior pastor at Grace Family Church, was arrested with 23 others during a prostitution operation conducted by the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department in the area of Watt Avenue on June 11.
Oselsky's plea deal with the Sacramento County District Attorney's Office included a delay of judgment on the conditions he complete a 12-hour education course and pay a fee. If he fulfills those requirements, he can withdraw his plea and the case will be dismissed. Otherwise, Sacramento County district attorney spokesperson Shelly Orio said Oselsky will be ordered to serve 10 days in jail and be on probation for three years.
