This was more than a marijuana seizure. It was a marijuana haul.

The Citrus Heights Police Department said a special enforcement team has recovered at least 858 pounds of marijuana, $464,850 in cash, seven firearms, high capacity magazines and ammunition during an ongoing investigation. The team includes Citrus Heights and Folsom police officers as well as Sacramento County probation officers,

The seizures began April 9 when the enforcement team pulled over a car driven by Jeremy Zahn on Oak Avenue. Zahn, 31, was on post-release community supervision (PRCS).

Detectives documented finding 48 pounds of marijuana packaged for sale in the back seat of Zahn's car. Zahn was arrested for transportation of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale and violation of his PRCS conditions, police said. He was booked into Sacramento County Jail.

The investigation continued with the execution of a search warrant at a home in El Dorado Hills connected to Zahn. There, police said they located 810 pounds of marijuana, with much of it found behind a false wall. Two large safes in the garage held cash, weapons, ammunition and additional marijuana.

Also taken into custody in connection to the probe was Lindsey Loya, 23, of Laverne. Police said she was arrested in Los Angeles on Sacramento County warrants for transportation of marijuana and possession for sale of marijuana.
