SACRAMENTO - An arrest has been made more than four months after the fatal beating of a disabled man along a busy Citrus Heights street.

Citrus Heights police detectives say numerous tips from citizens and help from media in publicizing the deadly assault on Christopher Sorgani on Oct. 27 has led to the arrest of a Sacramento man for homicide, according to Det. Chad Morris.

Investigators were not releasing the suspect's name at this time or a possible motive for the assault.

Sorgani was attacked on the 7700 block of Greenback Lane a little after 6:30 that October evening. Detectives previously said they believed the beating was a stranger attack and the announcement of the arrest did not refute that.
