An Amber Alert was canceled after a 4-year-old boy who was abducted two days ago was found safe Thursday night.

The California Highway Patrol said Sjon Singleton was located in Nevada after being abducted from Bishop, Calif., in Inyo County, on Tuesday.

The suspect, 43-year-old Angel Jacoba Schat, was also found safe, CHP said.

The CHP did not release any more information about the abduction or how the two were found.

The Amber Alert was put into effect for Alpine, El Dorado, Inyo, Mono, Nevada, Placer and Sierra counties Thursday night.
