A man identified by Stockton officials as a health risk to the public was apprehended in Kern County Tuesday.
Edwardo Rosas Cruz, who was wanted by Stockton police for failing to comply with health officers to treat his tuberculosis, was arrested Tuesday morning by the Kern County Sheriff's Department.
According to authorities, Cruz did not comply with medical orders to take treatment.
Cruz' was booked on a misdemeanor charge of violating a health and safety order. His bail was set to $100,000.
