SACRAMENTO – Four people were arrested over the weekend in connection with the stabbing of three people in the Arden Arcade area March 12.

Sacramento County sheriff's Sgt. Lisa Bowman said Sebastian Torres, 21, and three teen boys were arrested as suspects in the stabbing of a teenage boy and two men who came to the teen's aid. One of the men died from his injuries.

According to a previous statement from Bowman March 13, information collected at the scene of the stabbings indicated a group of suspected gang members targeted the teenage victim and followed him to a home on Wyda Way where they instigated a fight and stabbed him. Shannon Gregg, 41, and another man intervened and were also stabbed.

Gregg died the following day at a local hospital.

Torres was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail without the possibility of bail. The three teen suspects were booked into juvenile hall.
