There will be a fre flu vaccination clinic this Thursday, Feb. 6, for those who have not yet been immunized against the virus.
The Sacramento County Department of Public Health and Human Services says the clinic will be held at 7000 65th Street in Sacramento from noon until 3 p.m.
A spokesperson for the health department said there will be 600 vaccines available and as long as they have a supply, they will not turn anyone away right at 3 p.m.
The health department is providing the clinic to bring more awareness to how important it is for people to get vaccinated and to help News10 honor an employee who recently died from complications of the H1N1 strain of the flu virus. Nancy Pinnella was a national sales account manager in the News 10 Sales Department.
