The tiniest superhero in the world, Batkid, captured America's attention in 2013 when San Francisco and the Make-A-Wish Foundation threw a massive celebrationfor the masked vigilante. The city recognized Batkid again on Tuesday when he was invited to throw out the first pitch for the San Francisco Giants' home opener.
Batkid is the alter ego of 5-year-old Miles Scott, a kindergartner who is in remission from leukemia and who also has exquisite taste in superheroes. Batkid Day occurred in November, and San Francisco is still buzzing about the young dark knight.
His entrance to the park may have been the best part.
