Fairfield father accuses school board of covering up bullying cases. (Thursday, May 23, 2014) News10

FAIRFIELD – A father who got a restraining order against a school bully was demanding answers at Thursday night's school board meeting.

Stephen Fuedner said he is simply trying to get justice for his son. He spoke out at the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District board meeting and accused school officials of covering up bullying.

Fuedner said both of his sons have been bullied at Rolling Hills Elementary School. According to Fuedner, the school does nothing about it.

Fuedner filed a temporary restraining order, or TRO, against a 9-year-old boy he says assaulted his son. Last week, a Solano County Superior Court judge re-issued the TRO. It requires the boy to stay at least 2 yards away from Fuedner's son.

The child has not been served because law enforcement doesn't have his full name and address. The school won't release it, citing confidentiality laws.

The alleged bully was expelled from Rolling Hills Elementary because of a different incident. Fuedner, however, is still moving forward with his legal battle against the child. He is now serving the TRO intended for the boy to the superintendent, since it can't be served to the 9 year old.

"They failed to give me the address of the bully of my son and I had to think outside the box," Fuedner explained. "Well, if she is in charge of the of totality of the student population, I'm going to have her served and that was my intent."

Superintendent Kris Corey said she did not want to add fuel to the fire by commenting on the TRO. When asked if she had been served the temporary restraining order, Corey said she had seen a copy of it.

Corey also said Fuedner is working off of "bad information," but wouldn't elaborate.
