A man has been taken into custody for the sexual assault of a co-worker at a Ripon fast-food restaurant in April.
Ripon police First Sgt. Steve Merchant said the suspect, 30-year-old Pedro Ramirez of Turlock, is also accused of drugging his victim.
Identifying Ramirez was made difficult because investigators believe he used false identification to apply for the job at Carl's Jr. on Colony Road, according to Merchant.
U.S. Immigration investigators have taken over custody of Ramirez.
Any charges against Ramirez will be determined by the San Joaquin County District Attorney's Office.
