A 14-year-old trafficking victim whom law enforcement had been searching for since mid-January has been found on a Sacramento light rail train, the FBI said.
She was with Sean Daniels, 26, who was arrested on allegations of trafficking of a child, pimping, pandering and other sex crimes. Daniels was booked into the Sacramento County jail.
An FBI press release states that law enforcement officers found the girl with Daniels on a light rail train late Monday. After speaking with Daniels and the girl, officers identified the girl as a Sacramento area teen whom the FBI Child Exploitation Task Force had been searching for since mid-January.
Law enforcement officers determined through additional investigation that the girl had been a victim of trafficking, the FBI said.
