The Placer County Sheriff's Office has arrested a Merced man accused of burglarizing several North Lake Tahoe businesses.
Jason Woodral, 35, is charged with eight counts of burglary. He was arrested Wednesday after fleeing from sheriff's deputies responding to a report of a burglary in process at the Kings Beach Laundromat, according to the sheriff's office.
Woodral also is accused of burglarizing the Kings Beach Car Wash, the Tahoe Cutting Company and the Tahoe Pilates Studio, the sheriff's office said. He had an outstanding arrest warrant stemming from a burglary committed in Merced in 2009, and he is being held in the Placer County Jail on $200,000 bail.
