Aaron Paul has found that landing roles is easier after his success on Breaking Bad.

"Exodus came out of nowhere. I was just like, 'Really? Do you want me to audition, maybe? You want me to fight for this, fight for the role?' I'm just so used to clawing and fighting," he tells the February issue of Details magazine (out Jan. 14) of one of his upcoming films.

Yep, films. He's also set to star in Need For Speed, in which training involved him spending "days drifting around corners on the track." He calls taking the role a "business decision" -- but a refreshing one at that: "Running around, driving like a maniac in really expensive, fast cars? Why not? After six long, intense years on Breaking Bad, this was perfect."

As far as what kind of work he wants to do, he says he just wants "to do special projects. I would rather not work than work on just okay stuff. The things that really excite me are the things that make you feel."

"I gravitate toward edgy, intense, dark films that just grab you by the throat."

As for the Breaking Bad prequel Better Call Saul, which is going into production later this year, Paul says, "Both Bryan and I want to be a part of that. If they'll have us."
