STOCTKON - A 36-year-old man was arrested in Stockton Monday following a police pursuit of a peculiar nature.

According to Stockton police reports, officers went to the home of John Redmon on the 300 block of Edan Ave. around noon to serve an arrest warrant. As officers entered, Redmon ran out the rear of the home.

A short time later, Redmon was spotted on the roof of the property without any clothes, said police.

Redmon then took off, streaking across four neighborhood rooftops in the buff before coming down and hurdling several fences in his attempt to evade capture, police said.

When officers finally caught up with Redmon he resisted and a baton was used to help get him into custody, said police.

Redmon was arrested on charges of stalking, drug related charges and resisting arrest.
