There's nothing like a good set of public opinion polls to get the political tongues wagging, especially as an election season in on the near horizon.

This week's Capitol Connection podcast looks at two new sets of polling data on everything from the race for governor to some of the big economic issues that could be driving next year's campaigns.

Anthony York of the Los Angeles Times and I also chat about the current outlook for what kinds of ballot measure fights look likely for 2014.

As always, subscribe to the podcast via either iTunes or SoundCloud.
