SACRAMENTO, CA - Police have identified an up-and-coming rapper from New York as the man arrested after a three-hour standoff in a Natomas neighborhood Monday night.

Agdnan Mcleod, 23,was wanted for second-degree murder and police have been looking for him since January, according to the Nassau County, NYCrimeStoppers website.

Mcleod was named as a suspect in connection with the shooting death of a man in Hempstead, New York in August, 2012.

A warrant went out for his arrest in January 2013, and police say he's been spotted in New York City and Atlanta since. They believe he was in San Francisco as well.

An anonymous tip led police to a house on Raymar Way Monday night.

Mcleod is in the Sacramento County jail on a fugitive from justice charge, according to a Sacramento Police Department spokesperson.
