The flamestorched 160 acres and firefighters have reached 40 percent containment as of Tuesday morning, according to the U.S. Forest Service.

For some property owners in the area, they say the fire reminds them of the destructive Cleveland Fire 20 years ago.

"Every cabin in our tract lost their home, and when we drove back up, all that was standing was the chimneys," said Jackie Johnston.

Monday night, Johnston said she was grabbing some items out of her cabin just in case, but she believes the firefighters will get the fire under control.

The CHP says a wheel axle started sparking while someone was towing a car along the highway. That was at 12:41 p.m.
