DALLAS, Texas - A man whose wild ride on a runaway golf cart humored millions on YouTube, is suing Cowboys Stadiumdue to the embarrassment and injuryhe claims to havesuffered as a result.
According to Comcast SportsNet Houston, Willie Amandola, father to New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola, filed a $1 million lawsuit against Cowboys Stadium, citing personal injury and "great personal anguish and embarrassment" to him and his family following the highly publicized incident.
The incident started when an end zone pylon became lodged against the cart's accelerator pedal, causing it to zoom into a crowd of people on the field. The cart plowed through the group, hitting and scooping up Amendola in the process. Amendola was then taken on a 30-yard dash across the field before a person jumped on the cart and stopped its progress prior to reaching the endzone.
