Washington, DC (Sports Network) - Isaiah Thomas scored 22 points and floated home the game-winning score to send the Sacramento Kings to a 96-94 victory over the Washington Wizards on Monday at Verizon Center.
After John Wall banked a shot off the glass for Washington to tie the game with 7.9 seconds remaining, Thomas got in the paint and floated a tear drop through the hoop with just a second left to put the Kings on top.
With no timeouts remaining, Washington had to inbound from the full length of the court. Marcus Thornton then stole the inbounds pass to the clinch the victory for the Kings, who ended a four-game skid with the win.
Wall finished with 19 points and 11 assists, while Emeka Okafor tallied 23 points and 15 rebounds for the Wizards, who saw their five-game home winning streak come to an end.
