ROSEVILLE, CA - Police search for three people in connection to a Roseville bank robbery Thursday afternoon.
A man walked into the Chase Bank on the 1800 Douglas Boulevard around 2:28 p.m. and handed a note to the clerk demanding money, Roseville police spokesperson Dee Dee Gunther said.
The man left the bank, climbed into a silver older model Toyota Camry with two other people inside and drove away from the bank.
Gunther said the car was later found abandoned in a nearby neighborhood. The investigation found that the car was stolen from south Sacramento, near Florin Road and Stockton Boulevard.
The man who stole money from the bank is described to have a tan or olive complexion with dark hair; he was last seen wearing a black beret, black rimmed eyeglasses with a beige pea coat and a scarf over a white button shirt and dark slacks.
Gunter said no weapons were used in the robbery. The crime is being investigated by the Roseville Police Department and the FBI.
