SACRAMENTO, CA - Sacramento broke a 71-year-old rainfall record for Dec. 2 with 1.32 inches of rain by Sunday noon.

The former record for the date was 1.23 inches in 1941.

News10 meteorologist Ashton Altieri says rainfall totals will likely only rise.
