STOCKTON, CA - The line outside the Stockton Best Buy store is a couple of times longer than it was earlier in the week when shoppers first set up camp to be first in line.

Karina Gutierrez has been second in line all that time, and is ready for this adventure to be over.

"I'm happy it's almost over. My nose is freezing," she said. Her list of things to buy when the store opens at midnight isn't short.

"A TV, camera, DSI, and printer," she said.

The hot item to be had, for these early shoppers, is a high- definition TV that normally goes for about $500that is advertised forless than $200 at midnight when Best Buy opens.

Store managers have installed metal barriers all along the line to make sure the line stays a single file. They don't want people crashing or crowding the line at the last minute.
