SONORA, CA - A man chased out ofthe Wal-mart in Sonora late Monday night reportedly came back and robbed the store early Tuesday morning.

Sonora police say employees first noticed the man at about 11 p.m. when he was seen in a restricted area of the store and told to leave, which he did.

About 5:30 Tuesday morning, a man in the same clothing was observed pacing back and front of the store. When Wal-mart opened at 6 a.m., he went into the store and reportedly hid behind a counter, police said. As an employee came out of a secured area of the store, the man displayed a dark-colored, snub-nosed revolver and directed the worker back into the restricted area. The man took money from the secured area and left the store.

Witnesses said they saw him running south behind Starbucks toward Old Wards Ferry Road.

Both times, the man was described as white, about 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing around 200 pounds. He wore a fake beard and wig. His clothes were a gray sweatshirt; black jeans; agreen, white and black bandana; and tan boots. He had a walking cane.
