ROCKLIN, CA - Within 48 hours, Rocklin police responded to three shooting calls.

Around 2 a.m. Friday, residents called police to report shots fire near Sunset Boulevard and Fairway Drive; a few minutes later, people reported more gunshots near Stanford Ranch Road and Park Drive, Rocklin police said.

When officers responded, they found a vehicle with a single bullet hole; fortunately, no one was hurt.

On Saturday, police responded to two calls regarding gunshots within 45 minutes of each other.

At 1 a.m., suspects shot at the Shell Gas Station on Taylor Road in Loomis. Police said they found several bullet holes in the store and found shell casings on the road in front. No one was hurt in the shooting.

About 45 minutes later, police responded a home near Stanford Ranch Road and Park Drive to after getting calls of shots being fired into the home. Bullet holes were found on the backside of the home. Shell casings were found on the road near the home.

No one was injured.

Police said the caliber of the casing found near the home were the same as those recovered from the shooting scene Friday.

Police are analyzing the shell casings found near the Shell Gas Station.
