STOCKTON, CA. - Ground spraying is set for today in the Stockton, Manteca and Ripon areas, weather permitting.

Officials are working to eradicate mosquitoes in order to avoid the spread of the West Nile virus.

Spraying will be at the following locations from 8:30 - 11:30 pm tonight. If the weather becomes a factor, spraying will continue tomorrow night from 8:30 - 11:30.

The boundaries are as follows:

South Manteca and Weatherbee Lake: north to Aplicella Court, south to East Williamson Road, east to South Woodward Avenue and west to South Oak Street.

South rural Manteca, north to Division Road, south to San Joaquin and Stanislaus rivers, east to Stanislaus River and west to Two Rivers Road.

Southwest rural Ripon, north to West Ripon Road, south to East Moncure Road, east to Mohler Road and West to Austin Road.
