Modern Family star Sofia Vergara just celebrated her 40th birthday on July 10, and now she has even more to be happy about.
Forbes just put her atop its list of highest earners among female TV stars. The mag estimates that between May 2011 and May 2012, the Colombian beauty raked in $19 million thanks to her starring role on the ABC hit, bilingual endorsements with Cover Girl, Pepsi, Burger King, Comcast and State Farm, and her work as one half of the management company Latin World Entertainment.
In addition to TV and commercials, Vergara also starred in four movies during that 12-month span: The Smurfs, Happy Feet 2, New Year's Eve and The Three Stooges.
Amazingly, Vergara beat out reality TV queen Kim Kardashian (No. 2) by just $1 million. The rest of the top 10 includes Eva Longoria ($15 million), Bethenny Frankel ($12 million), Khloe Kardashian Odom ($11 million), Tina Fey ($11 million), Mariska Hargitay ($10 million), Zooey Deschanel ($9 million), Felicity Huffman ($9 million) and Ellen Pompeo ($9 million).
