STOCKTON, CA - Stockton policeblocked off North California Street Wednesday aftenoon to respond to a report of gunfire and injuries to three people in front of the Alpine Market on the 2800 block.

Officer say two women and one man were hurt. It wasn't clear if their injuries were from being struck by bullets or shattered glass from a car in the middle of the street with bullet holes.

Authories say the injuries were non-life-threatening.

Police don't know what triggered the gunfire.
