Microsoft will reportedly begin rolling out its first original video series for the Xbox video game console in June.
According to Bloomberg, the Xbox television studio managed by former CBS executive Nancy Tellem has six original series lined up and more than a dozen other projects in development.
One of the programs that will be available is Humans, a sci-fi series about humanoid robot workers.
Microsoft's TV plans are the latest effort to attract consumers toward the Xbox One, the company's latest video game console. While the device has jumped to the strongest start in Xbox history, sales lag behind Sony's PlayStation 4 worldwide.
Microsoft also becomes the latest tech company delving into original video content. Netflix and Amazon already launched their own video series, while Yahoo is reportedly considering a similar jump.
