New Orleans, LA (Sports Network) - The New Orleans Hornets announced on
Monday that they will limit guard Eric Gordon's participation during training
camp.
Gordon underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee last season and
experienced soreness while participating in voluntary workouts near the end of
the summer.
"The team is taking a cautious approach with Eric to give him the best chance
to be ready for the season," general manager Dell Demps said.
The Hornets re-signed the fourth-year guard this past offseason after matching
the Phoenix Suns' four-year, $58 million offer sheet.
