North Carolina center Tyler Zeller participates in a pre draft workout with the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday.
SACRAMENTO, CA - North Carolina center Tyler Zeller participated in a pre-draft workout in front of the Sacramento Kings brass, only a day after they worked out his Tarheels teammate John Henson.
Zeller headlined Tuesday's group workout of six NBA draft hopefuls, hoping to impress the team's management. The Kings hold the fifth pick in the NBA Draft, which will be held on June 28.
The 22-year-old, seven-footer, 250 pound Zeller was the only projected lottery pick in the group. He worked with Alabama's JaMychal Green, UCLA's Lazeric Jones, Wendell McKines of New Mexico State and William Buford of Ohio State.
Charlie Westbrook, a 6-foot-4 senior guard from South Dakota took part in his second straight workout with Sacramento.
More pre draft workout sessions are scheduled to take place at the Kings practice facility this week.
On Wednesday, the Kings welcome in point guard Damian Lillard of Weber State, and then on Thursday, Connecticut Freshman Andre Drummond will workout for Sacramento. Both are projected to be lottery picks in the upcoming draft.
