Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) - Cleveland Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving will
miss at least a week after aggravating a shoulder injury Monday night.
Irving did not travel with the team for Wednesday's game at Milwaukee, staying
behind to have an MRI which confirmed the rookie had aggravated his contused
and sprained right shoulder.
The Cavaliers said he will be out 7-10 to rest and receive treatment, then
start rehab.
Irving, who is averaging 18.8 points and 5.7 assists in 46 games this season,
originally injured the shoulder in Friday night's home game against Milwaukee.
Last year's No. 1 draft pick sat out Saturday against New York then aggravated
the injury against San Antonio on Monday.
The Cavs carried an eight-game losing streak into Wednesday's game against the
Bucks.
