Aquitaine, France (Sports Network) - Stacey Keating recorded her second
straight victory on Sunday when she overcame a three-shot deficit to win the
Open de France.
Keating was three shots behind leader Diana Luna entering the final round, but
fired eight birdies at Chantaco Golf Club on Sunday to card a 64 and finish at
14-under 266. It is the second win on the Ladies European Tour in as many
events for the Australian, who also won the Open de Espana two weeks ago.
Luna shot a 68 on Sunday and finished at 13-under to notch her third straight
second-place result at the tournament.
Hannah Jun and Azahara Munoz both recorded a 66 in the final round to tie for
third place at 11-under, while Trish Johnson, Anne-Lise Caudal and Carlota
Ciganda placed fifth at 10-under.
Lorena Ochoa made her first Ladies European Tour start in two years and tied
for 22nd place at 1-under.
