New York, NY (Sports Network) - The NFL announced Monday that the trading
deadline has been pushed back to Thursday because of Hurricane Sandy.
The deadline originally was scheduled for Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET, but has been
delayed 48 hours due to the impending storm, which is expected to hammer the
East Coast.
The NFL offices in New York have been shut down for Monday and Tuesday, making
the paperwork for any potential trades difficult to complete.
