Minneapolis, MN (Sports Network) - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers activated
defensive end Da'Quan Bowers off the physically able to perform list.
Bowers, who tore his Achilles while participating in the club's offseason
program, will be available for Thursday's matchup with the Minnesota Vikings.
Selected by Tampa Bay in the second round of the 2011 draft, Bowers had 30
tackles and 1 1/2 sacks in 16 games last season.
The Buccaneers released cornerback LeQuan Lewis to make room on the roster.
Lewis has appeared in four games this season between the Bucs and Dallas
Cowboys, collecting just one tackle.
