SAN JOSE - Bantamweight fighter T.J. Dillashaw took another step to build his UFC record with an impressive win over Vaughn Lee at HP Pavilion in San Jose Wednesday night.
Dillashaw (6-1) who trains with Urijah Faber's Team Alpha Male in Sacramento, beat Lee with a 1st round rear naked choke taking home his second victory in the UFC.
In the main event, collegiate wrestling champion and former UC Davis Wrestling Coach Mark Munoz fell to top contender Chris Weidman in the main event.
Munoz (12-3) was on the defensive for two rounds against Weidman (9-0) who used an elbow to knock Munoz to the canvas and finished the fight with a barage of ground and pound.
